Puspahome Homestay and Event House

So on the 5th of Eid, the whole family stayed at Puspahome Homestay and Event House sebab that was the venue of my SIL's wedding reception (22 August 2012)

Puspahome ni adalah Straits-style bungalow 2 tingkat yang dahulunya tempat tinggal principals of the Penang Free School, yang telah diubahsuai oleh Datin Noraini Jaafar.

I myself memang suka old English Colonial Buidings di Penang dan to stay and spend a night at this lavish bungalow memang rasa bertuah sama sekali. With that being said I sepatutnya ambik banyak lagi gambar la kat rumah tu hari tu kan - you should see how big the kitchen was.

I liked how there was 2 separate tangga, one which was main and another that was quite narrow and leads to the kitchen. There was 2 bathroom kat bawah, one near the kitchen ada mesin basuh, so I fully utilized this jadi bila balik ke Subang Jaya semula, tak de kelam kabut sangat nak basuh baju. I just did a 1x bilas with comfort ultra sahaja and siap 6 load (what do you expect, nak dekat 6 hari juga on the road huhuhu)

I tak sempat nak kira berapa bedroom it had, I think there was 3 or 4. Each bedroom was fully airconditioned and the perabot reminded me of my days growing up sebagai anak principal juga di Kluang Johor dulu (sebab setiap perabut ada hak kerajaan malaysia hehehe)

We shared a room with my MIL, lovely biras Nina from KT and her adorable son Izqy. Rasanya diaorang lagi jauh daripada kami.

The preparation was lay back, tak "kalut" macam wedding kat kampung. Everything was already layed out macam meja beradap, pelamin semua so tak banyak kerja pun.

Even the bedroom untuk pengantin pun very elegant. So my SIL and biras just touch up sana sini for their photo shoot. My biras ni memang pro wedding photographer so dia buat kerja tip top la bila touch up all the areas kat situ including the bedroom.

I just helped with isi the bunga telur, placed them nicely kat bekas bunga telur tu, touch up sana sini mana yang patut and helped make breakfast for the other tetamu dalam rumah tu the next morning.
