NEW FACEBOOK PROFILE - Welcome to Your Timeline

I love G+ coz I hang out with the cool web developers and IT peps there :P

So a friend showed me the "Welcome to Your Timeline - Developer Release" and I decided to take it for a test drive.

Welcome to Your Timeline - Developer Release
Your timeline currently features your top photos and posts. Right now, only you can see what's here. Take a tour and star, hide or add whatever you want. Then click Publish Now or wait until your timeline goes live on Friday, September 30, 2011.

So at the moment I am not sure if this will hit everyone by end of this Month but it says what it says there so better be prepared then get the culture shock of what happend when they made changes to the new FB English UK setting yesterday

So what is this Timeline Profile..lets take a tour

1. Cover
Start with your cover
Your cover appears above your profile picture, and it's the first thing people see when they visit your timeline.
Choose a unique photo to feature on your cover and change it as often as you like.

2.Views
See everything in one place
This is where you'll find your info, photos, likes, apps and other stuff — all in one central place.

3.Activity Log
View all your activity
Your activity log lists all your posts and activity, from today back to the beginning. Go here to change the privacy for individual stories, delete posts and more.
This is your private resource — no one else can see your activity log.

4.Stories
Rediscover your top stories
This is your timeline. It shows all your top photos, stories and life events, from the little things you do each day to your most important moments.
Scroll back to the beginning or jump to a specific time by clicking the dates along the right side of your timeline.

5.Star or Hide
Highlight what's important
Hover over a story and click the star to expand it to widescreen. Or click the pencil to hide or delete the post.

There is also a timeline indicator on your right hand side

I am still toying with this concept but I like the fact that I can see old post easier...like how many friends I had in 2011..the events I attended...

and even to when I was born???? LOL

So here is what I CAN SEE on my new Facebook Timeline Profile. This is not out yet to everyone, only to developers of apps - so I hope a small window of glimpse might help to lessen the culture shock

What I dont like is...too much information that I have to hide some MANUALLY - LECEH
But I think its cool - I might change the cover...but its certainly is ME
