CCTV Footage of JW Marriot Ritz Carlton Bombing Suspect

TVone.co.id released an exclusive footage of the possible bomber.

The news anchors said that the individual seen in the footage was dressed very strangely as it was 8am in the morning and headed towards the restaurant area. Withing 1 minute and 2 second after he reached the vicinity of the restaurant, there was an explosion.

The explosion left 9 dead and a large number of casualties.

Indonesia's security minister confirmed a New Zealander was among the dead in the blasts at the Ritz-Carlton and Marriott hotels, and said a further 50 people were wounded.

Officials say there is an Australian, a New Zealander and a South Korean still among the injured.

Reuters has named the New Zealand man who was killed as Timothy David Mackay, president director of PT Holcim Indonesia.

The news anchors also mentioned how strange that the CCTV cameras had followed this individual. Security would have detected the strangeness (as he looked rather bulky to me as well as if hiding something from his jacket)

Manchester United have cancelled their friendly game against an Indonesian Super League All-Star team after news broke of bomb explosions in Jakarta today.

The match was due to take place on July 20 as part of United’s pre-season tour of the Far East.

An official club statement read: “Following the explosions in Jakarta – one of which was at the hotel the team were due to stay in – and based on advice received, the directors have informed the Indonesian FA that the club cannot fulfil the fixture in Jakarta on the 2009 Asia tour.”
