Haters Are Confused Admirers


Haters keep the world going round. Learn to LOVE them cause they the best fans in the world. Without them, nobody would give a crap about who we are!

They take heat about what you write on your Facebook, Twitter, Myspace and what you comment on other people's wall bla bla bla yada yada yada

Stalkers ke? *giggle* Losers more like it to me.

You may not get to pick your family but at least you can pick your friends. Take advantage of this by picking healthy friends who don't suck the life out of you. Friends come and go; people change for better or worse. You are not obligated to keep around toxic friends just because you have a history with them.

Spreading Some Gratitude For Teacher's Day


It's an annual thing I do dengan my 1st dotter Aliya. It might be simple but they say its the thought that counts. Hadiah pun mungkin tak seberapa but my mother was a teacher (I'm supposed to be a teacher also u know :P) and dia selalu bagitau, she would like things she could use on a daily basis - contohnya stationery. I love novelties too but if I was a teacher, some stationery would be nice as well :)

My annual melipat kertas hadiah is always the Origami Shirt. Its creative and suits the theme of Teacher's Day. For the cikgu lelaki I sertakan an Origami Tie as well, while for the cikgu perempuan, a nice beaded necklace adorns their lovely shirt (hurmmm...kalaula I tau buat Origami Kebaya kan bagus?)

I want the presents to be very personalized and I want my daugther's 99% involvement in preparing this. Biasalah tak jadi cikgu pun masih lagi menjadi cikgu di rumah with my kids :)


So enjoy the piccas (hope you will try this yourself as well if you run out of ideas for teacher's day)

and I would also like to take this opportunity to wish all the teachers out there

Jerebu: 31 bandar catat kualiti udara tidak sihat

KUALA LUMPUR 11 Mei – Sebanyak 31 bandar di negara ini mencatatkan kualiti udara tidak sihat dengan Indeks Pencemaran Udara (IPU) dicatatkan antara 51 hingga 100 sehingga, pukul 11 pagi tadi.
Kenyataan Jabatan Alam Sekitar (JAS) berkata, kawasan yang paling teruk ialah Pelabuhan Klang dengan IPU 97, diikuti Nilai (89), Bukit Rambai (87), Muar (84) dan Banting mencatatkan IPU 82.
Di Sabah dan Sarawak pula, kawasan IPU tertinggi ialah Bintulu iaitu 72, Tawau (52) Sandakan dan Keningau masing-masing mencatatkan 51.
“Kualiti udara di Putrajaya juga memasuki tahap sederhana pada pukul 7 pagi tadi iaitu 70, diikuti Kuala Lumpur dan Cheras sebanyak 69,” kata kenyataan itu.
Sebanyak 19 kawasan mencatatkan bacaan IPU pada tahap yang baik iaitu antara kosong hingga 50. - Utusan
Malah mata Fay dua tiga hari ni berselabut semacam bila bangun. That means partikel dalam udara amatlah banyak sebab I ni prone kena sensitivity due to heat like gegatal dan hay fever.

Review Pentol Bakso

Hari tu my DH kena pergi Singapore untuk site visit dan sleep over kat Johor. Dia dah siap-siap belikan daging cincang Ramly's tu sebab I ingat ok la dgn anak-anak sahaja apa kata buat spaghetti meatballs.

But since I sangat malas hari tu, I decided I just nak buat Bakso cukup untuk lunch dan sampai ke dinner. Masalahnya mana cukup satu paket daging cincang Ramly's tu. SO apa I buat, I ambik ayam sikit dan udang sikit campur.

Ha Ha Ha kerja gile. I pernah la dengar kata orang-orang tua cakap tak elok campur daging lembu dengan daging ayam, wallahualam. Janji sedap anak-anak aku makan sudeh :P


The texture was much nicer actually...sangat BEST sekali.


sambal kicap dan tomato sos coz perut I tak tahan cuka...my daughter suka sangat bakso simple gile ni


did you notice I used spaghetti hahaha, bakso orang kaya ni :P
actually sebab I tak berapa suka mee kuning, sebab itu la.

resipi?
PENTOL BAKSO CAMPUR ALA FAY 
1 paket daging cincang Ramly's
udang dalam 300gram
(minced kan - means cincang dalam blender sampai halus)
daging ayam
(2 potong bahagian dada - ambil isi sahaja - minced kan - means cincang dalam blender sampai halus)
tepung jagung sedikit
telur sebiji
garam perisa secukup rasa
lada putih
minyak bijan

KUAH
bawang putih 4 ulas ditumbuk
minyak masak
air panas 1 cerek

  1. mix ayam cincang, udang cincang dan 1 paket daging cincang Ramly's with the other ingredients. 
  2. tumis bawang putih yang sudah ditumbuk
  3. tumis dgn minyak dalam periuk
  4. sudah naik bau, tuang air panas
  5. lepas ni boleh start bolat2kan bakso anda
  6. biarkan bakso di dalam kuah sehingga mereka timbul selepas itu kecikkan api and biar mereneh seberapa lama yang anda perlu (ni utk rasa stock bakso tu meresap dalam kuah)
Btw I learnt how untuk bentukkan bakso tu from this guy

Sambal Hitam

Sue mentioned in her previous comment asking me how to make the Sambal Hitam.

Sambal kicap ke Sue?

Usually the resipi is sangat simple :
Cili Padi segenggam kalau nak truly pedas, if not half of it
Kicap Jalen
Bawang Putih 3 ulas
sedikit garam

..tu je

The best cili padi I rasa untuk buat sambal kicap is this one below :


Tak tahu la orang lain macamana, but this one rocks hahaha (sedap la tu)


Make sure you rendam dalam air panas dulu sebelum tumbuk (this one I buat lama dah untuk tutorial bergambar buat Soto - tu yang pakai cili padi yang jenis lain) Tangkai cili padi ditumbuk sekali, nenek I kata dalam tangkai tu ada ubat untuk sakit perut makan cili padi...betul kut sebab I jarang sakit perut tiap kali makan sambal kicap kalau ditumbuk dgn batang2 nye sekali



Yang ini pulak kicap TERBAEK kalau nak buat sambal kicap....nothing compares to this. Kilang membuatnya pun dekat my parent's place in Johor hahaha ofkos la terbaek wok!



Lesung batu juga harus tumbuk itu cili ok...no blender2...tak sedap. Masa nak tumbuk tu tambah la sikit garam...bukan apa, senang nak lumat bila ada garam.


Lepas tumbuk, tambah la kicap. Kalau rajin, buat banyak sekali sebab makin lama di simpan makin sedap sebenarnya.


Simpan tu biarla "earthy" atau kaca punya bekas (bukan tupperware) supaya rasa dia tak berubah. Kalau I buat sikit dalam mangkuk ni la I simpan, tutup (dgn sandwich wrapper) masukkan dalam peti ais, kalau kicap kurang, tambah lagi...comot kan hahaha comot tapi sedap!!

Tapi bukan la saya dok melepak dan biarkan mak saya masak sensorang.

Masak Laksa Johor mesti memerlukan bantuan gotong-royong. Renyeh sebab bahan banyak tapi makan dia kejap je. Hu Hu Hu
